And the winner is…

The Sidings, Daniel Wilsher and Morley Radio are thrilled to announce SG Sounds UK as the winner of the Summer Piano Competition! With their captivating 54-second piece, SG Sounds has impressed our esteemed judges, including Daniel Wilsher, Channel 4’s The Piano finalist; Camilo Salazar from Morley Radio; and Megan Doole from The Sidings.

Participants showcased their talent on our community piano in Waterloo Station, just outside The Sidings shopping centre, by posting their performances on social media, and SG Sounds stood out among many talented competitors. As the winner, they will receive a £500 cash prize in recognition of their artistry and creativity.

The Community Piano at Waterloo Station is a creative partnership between Morley College London, Morley Radio, WeAreWaterloo, SouthBank BID, Waterloo Station, The Sidings and Marksons Pianos, providing a public platform for both amateur and professional musicians to showcase their talents to the public, potentially discovering new talent.
