This autumn sees the launch of Mind the Map, a groundbreaking and first-of-its-kind exhibition that brings together 110 collaborative artworks by 55 artists, each reimagining the map as a space for creativity, storytelling, and connection.
The project, conceived and led by London artist Marc Craig, invited a diverse group of artists to collaborate on map-based works that explore psychogeography, place, and imagination. Each artwork carries the layered voices of two creators, resulting in a dynamic body of work that is both personal and universal.
Exhibition Details:
• Online exhibition: 18 October – 30 November 2025
• Physical exhibition: 19 October – 26 October 2025
• Location: Waterloo Sidings, London
A New Approach to Collaboration
Mind the Map uses a three-tiered artist structure – bringing together new, emerging, and established names on equal footing – to blur boundaries and spark unexpected connections. By pairing artists across experience levels and styles, the project demonstrates the power of dialogue and shared authorship.
“This project has always been about breaking down hierarchies and exploring what happens when artists meet on the same page – literally,” says curator and artist Marc Craig. “Maps carry memory, movement, and meaning. Through collaboration, they become even richer, reflecting the ways our journeys intertwine.”
A Living Atlas of Creativity
With 110 works in total, Mind the Map forms a kind of living atlas – an ever-shifting landscape of marks, colours, and voices. It stands as proof that collaboration can create new routes through familiar terrain and invite audiences to rethink how they navigate both art and the world around them.
