New Year’s Eve Celebrations on the South Bank

On Tuesday 31 December from 5pm there will be pedestrian restrictions in place to help with the delivery of the Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations and therefore usual walking routes will be affected.

Recommended Route

To access The Sidings, we strongly recommend you arrive at Waterloo Station via train or tube and make your way onto the concourse of Waterloo Main Line Station. Once on the concourse, follow signs to platforms 20 – 24, then take the stairs or lift to level -1 and follow signs to The Sidings. 

If arriving on the tube after 10pm, please exit the station onto Waterloo Road, turn right and follow the map below.

Alternatively, if approaching The Sidings on foot, you must use Spur Road to access Waterloo Station, then follow the recommended route above once on the concourse.
